Description

The aim of the proposed extension of the 40mph buffer zone on the western side of Dudleston Heath is to reduce vehicle speeds along this section of road, and so improve road safety for all road users.

(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to make the following changes to a speed limit near Dudleston Heath:

Length of existing 40mph speed limit to be revoked

That length of the B5068 from a point 93 metres west of its junction with Chestnut Avenue to a point 40 metres west of its junction with Church Lane.

Lengths of proposed 40mph speed limit

That length of the B5068 from a point 93m west of its junction with Chestnut Avenue westwards to a point 30m west of the westernmost property boundary of The Oaks.

That length of the unclassified road leading from Dudleston Grange to Cross Lanes from its junction with the B5068 for a distance of 24m in a northerly direction (measured from the give way line).
