Title of scheme |
Oswestry – Church Street Area – 20mph Speed Limit |
Description |
It is proposed that a 20mph speed limit is introduced on Church Street, The Cross, Cross Street, and Willow Street to support the introduction of the one-way system on Church Street. This will reduce the speed of motor vehicles in Oswestry town centre, promoting pedestrian and cyclist safety, and active travel. The above aims to provide both improved safety for all road users, and a better quality of life and environment for the local community. The proposed one-way order mentioned above, as well as experimental changes to the waiting and loading restrictions on Church Street, will be covered by separate Traffic Regulation Orders. |
