Review of Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003
Premises: Albrighton Post Office and Convenience Store, 31-33 Station Road, Albrighton, Nr Wolverhampton, WV7 3QG
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Shropshire Council has received an application for the review of the above Premises Licence, pursuant to Section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003.
A review of licence has been requested by Shropshire Council Public Protection on the grounds that the premises operates in such a manner as to undermine the licensing objectives concerning the protection of children from harm.
Details of the grounds for review may be inspected at the licensing office within Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Thursday or 8.30am and 4.30pm on Friday.
It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5,000).
