Description

The proposal to reduce the speed limit through Shipton is being made in order to enhance road safety for the residents of the village, and also for visitors travelling to or through the area.

Shropshire Council proposes to place a 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Shipton:

The B4378 through Shipton, from the junction with the lane that joins the B4378 with the B4368, for 222m in a north-easterly direction.

The B4378 through Shipton, from the junction with the lane that joins the B4378 with the B4368, for 365m in a westerly then south-westerly direction.

The entire length of the lane that runs between the B4378 and the B4368.
