Description

After representations received during the recent public consultation on proposals to introduce Pay and Display and residents parking in the Shirehall Overflow Car Park on London Road, to further improve local amenity, we are now proposing to extend the area of residents’ eligibility for permit concessions to include additional properties on Wenlock Road.

(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2011

(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER

On 20 July 2023 Shropshire Council advertised proposals to introduce Pay and Display parking in the Shirehall staff and visitor overflow car park on London Road, Shrewsbury. We now propose to add the below properties to the list of addresses of residents who will be eligible to purchase a parking permit to park in that car park, at an annual cost of £384:

  • 14, 15 The Armoury
  • Wenlock Road numbers: 37, 41-55 (odd numbers), 58, 60, 62-79, 81, 83-94, 96, and 98
