Description

The existing Bus Stop is to be removed as the current bus service utilises the two existing bus stops located outside Albert’s Shed public house and leaving the current bus stop surplus to requirements.

A new loading only bay is to be introduced in its place in the same position, to service the new premises called The Tannery, located at the junction of Barker Street and St. Austin’s Street.

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (BARKER STREET, SHREWSBURY) (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to place a Loading Bay (to operate 7:30am-8:00pm) on the following side of road in Shrewsbury:

Barker Street
(south-west side)

From a point 2m north-west of the south-eastern flank wall of The Tannery, for a distance of 18m in a north-westerly direction

This will replace the bus stop that is currently at that location.
