Title of Scheme |
Upton Magna – 30mph Speed Limit |
Description
|
As part of the on-going De Quincey Fields development off Pelham Road, Shropshire Council seeks to extend the speed limit on Pelham Road in Upton Magna to cover the accesses to this development. Whilst consulting on this change Shropshire Council is also carrying out an administrative exercise to reconcile the speed limit order on the rest of the village, and to include the road within the new development. Apart from the extension of the speed limit order on Pelham Road and inclusion of De Quincey Fields, there will be no change to the overall extent of the signed speed limit affecting Upton Magna. The introduction of the revised speed limit order for Upton Magna will, through managing vehicle speeds, assist in avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road, and help in preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. |
