The museum has seating where you can relax in a warm and safe environment for as much time as you wish during opening hours. Much Wenlock Museum tells the story of the town and surrounding area, the links between Dr William Penny Brookes and the Modern Olympic Games, and the geology of nearby Wenlock Edge. The museum also houses a visitor information centre which provides information about the local area.

Please note that the museum closes for lunch from 1pm to 1.30pm. During the summer, the museum is also open on Sundays.
