Supplementary planning documents and standing advice
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) provide further guidance to support the understanding and application of policies in the adopted Development Plan.
Standing Advice and Guidance documents provide advice on a specific location or asset(s), for those considering development proposals which might be affected by or affect the location or asset(s).
These documents represent material considerations when making decisions on planning applications, but are not themselves part of the adopted Development Plan and therefore cannot introduce new policy.
