What are the board's responsibilities?

The JSNA uses evidence to identify health needs within the Shropshire population. This information is then used in the planning and commissioning of services to ensure that we're prioritising the most important areas of health and wellbeing. Find out more on our JSNA page
- Develop a health and wellbeing strategy. The Health and Wellbeing Board launched a five-year Health and Wellbeing Strategy in 2022, which sets out the long-term vision for Shropshire, and includes identifying the immediate priority areas for action and how Shropshire intends to address these

- To publish and keep up to date a statement of the needs for pharmaceutical services, referred to as the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). The 2022-2023 PNA was published in October
