Why would you make a pre-application?

As part of the pre-application process you can get advice from the Highways Development Team on the acceptability of any application that will have an impact upon the highway. As part of this process you can request a meeting with the planning officer, and request a representative from the Developing Highways Team attends. You're encouraged to consult the existing highways development documents, such as:
