Hotbuckle productions will be with us for an INDOOR performance of Thomas Hardy’s Far from the Madding Crowd. It tells the story of the young farmer Gabriel Oak and his love for and pursuit of the elusive and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene. Her wayward nature however, leads her into the path of the dashing Sergeant Troy ‘…the past was yesterday; never, the day after’ and the introverted and reclusive gentleman farmer, Mr Boldwood, whose love for her fills him with ‘…a fearful sense of exposure’ culminating almost inevitably in both tragedy and true love.
Doors open at 6.15pm with the performance starting at 7pm. The performance will finish no later than 10.15pm.
Please call 01746 781192 to book your ticket. The performance will be held in the visitor centre so places are limited to 60. Seats are unreserved.
