School catchment areas
When seeking information about catchment areas, and in which primary or secondary catchment your house lies, it's important to pinpoint your property accurately as some postcodes straddle two catchment areas. If you're in any doubt about your school catchment area, or are looking for information on Catholic-aided schools, please contact our School Admissions service.
Public rights of way
Rights of way data is not viewable below 1:10000 scale. This map is a working copy, with the public rights of way taken from our Definitive Map. This isn't the Definitive Map and can't be regarded as the legal record of public rights of way. It is guidance provided for indicative purposes only. This is particularly important when there are legal consequences arising from information obtained from the map. The Definitive Map may be viewed at Shirehall.
Shropshire maintained roads
The information shown on the 'Shropshire maintained roads' layer doesn't imply that the public highway directly abuts the boundary of the site. Should you require this additional information, a site visit would be required and research done, for which a fee of £83 is required, payable in advance to Shropshire Council, together with an up-to-date plan, preferably scale 1:2500.
You can either pay by cheque, made payable to Shropshire Council and returned to Highways Control, Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6ND, or you can pay by secure card payment over the telephone, by phoning 01743 255495 (after 9:30am). We'll respond to these enquiries within five to ten working days. Please note that there is no VAT on this fee.
