The Examination Library includes all the documents submitted to the Secretary of State, as detailed within the Schedule of Submission Documents.

These documents can be accessed using the boxes below and include:

1. The core submission documents includes the submitted draft Shropshire Local Plan (2016 – 2038); draft Policies and Inset Maps; supporting assessments (including the Sustainability Appraisal, Habitats Regulations Assessment and Equality and Social Inclusion Impact Assessment); and a link to the representations received (under Regulation 20) in response to the Regulation 19: Pre-Submission Consultation.
2. Information on relevant earlier Regulation 18: Plan-making consultations that were undertaken to inform the preparation of the draft Shropshire Local Plan (2016 – 2038).
3. Other background documents including the Annual Monitoring Report, Local Development Scheme, Statements of Community Involvement; and the currently adopted Local Plan.
4. Evidence base documents that informed the preparation of the draft Shropshire Local Plan (2016 – 2038) up to its submission to the Secretary of State on 3 September 2021. A Schedule of Submission Documents is available.

The Examination Library also includes all the Examination Stage Documents. This includes subsequent statements and other relevant correspondence issued after submission of the draft Shropshire Local Plan (2016 – 2038). This will be updated to include relevant material issued by the Planning Inspector, Shropshire Council and other parties during the examination process.
