To inform the ongoing Local Plan Review, we undertook a ten-week strategic sites consultation, which started on the 1 July 2019. This consultation identified a series of preferred strategic sites, specifically:

1. Clive Barracks, Tern Hill

2. Former Ironbridge Power Station

3. RAF Cosford

It also identified a further potential strategic site at land north of Junction 3 of the M54, which is currently subject to consideration but is not currently a preferred strategic site.

During this consultation, more than 2,300 unique respondents commented. These included local residents, businesses, town and parish councils, neighbouring local authorities, statutory consultees and a range of other organisations. The responses informed the subsequent development of the Local Plan Review.
